Western Riverside County MSHCP Biological Consultant Training Session, Monday June 10

The Regional  Conservation Authority (RCA) will be holding a half-day training session for Consultants regarding implementation of the Western Riverside County Multiple Species Habitat Conservation Plan (MSHCP). The session will be designed to assist Consultants understand the MSHCP Consistency Analysis process and prepare consistency documents. The training will review the various sections in the MSHCP that require compliance and provide helpful hints and direction on content of MSHCP compliance documents. There will be time for questions and discussion.

David Carr, ECORP’s Orange County Terrestrial Biology Manager, will be in attendance.  David Carr spent three years with the County of Riverside, Environmental Programs Department implementing the MSCHP from 2004-2007.  He remains active in all forms of habitat conservation planning, in particular Riverside County with both of its’ large regional plans including the Coachella Valley MSHCP.  If you have a question about the planning process, species or habitats within Riverside County please contact David Carr,  or anyone of our Southern California offices that is closest to you today.
